Where our inventory comes from
Our fixtures are overstock and surplus — manufacturer overstock, distributor surplus, and builder or contractor closeout inventory. Unless a listing states otherwise, every fixture we sell is new and unopened in its original manufacturer packaging. Where an item is open-box, that condition is stated on the product page.
Because this is closeout inventory, quantities are limited and most items are one-off or short-run. When a fixture sells out we usually cannot restock it.
We are not an authorized dealer
The Lighting Reserve is an independent reseller. We are not an authorized dealer for, and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by, Kichler, Elan, or any other manufacturer whose products appear on this site. All brand names, model numbers, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the specific product being offered for sale.
Because we are not an authorized dealer, the manufacturer’s warranty may not apply to items purchased here. Our own refund policy applies to every order regardless of manufacturer warranty status.
How we price
We list a single, straightforward selling price on every fixture. We do not display struck-through “retail” or “compare at” prices, because as a surplus reseller we cannot substantiate a prior selling price for closeout inventory. What you see is what you pay.
Shipping and delivery
We ship nationwide, with rates calculated at checkout. Local delivery to your door in Northeast Georgia is available for a fee based on distance and order size, and installation by a qualified electrical technician may be available by quote.
